This oven was purchased as a replacement for a 25 year old JennAir built in double oven. The biggest issue was finding something close to the old size, and this fit the bill. The only improvement would be to ask BOSCH to make trim kits available to assist in retrofitting items.

We installed the oven + microwave combo replacing a seperately installed microwave and double oven unit. We found that we just didn't use the double oven enough and having it all combined into a single unit saves us precious cabinet space in our new kitchen. So far, the units have been great and intuitive to use!

Like how my oven combo unit looks. Don't like the depth of micro/speed oven when it comes to cleaning because I can't reach the inside back to clean it. Also can't see well through the glass door when in use.

We've been in our new renovated kitchen about a month now with our new Bosch appliances. We love our 800 series Combination Oven. It's beautiful to look at and works well. We find we use the top Convection Oven (doubles as Microwave) nearly every day, especially as it is summer and we don't want to heat up the big oven. Would love it if there was a way for the rack to slide out to make it easier to get items in and out, but that might not be possible. The microwave doesn't seem to be as strong as our old regular microwave, but works fine and gets the job done. We've only used the large oven once and it works well. I was concerned with reviews which said that the lights were dim on the microwave/convection oven, however Bosch must have fixed that as it nearly matches the regular/lower oven, so looks like it's not an issue now. It does blow air out in your face when checking things in the oven as the vent is in the middle, so it would be better if it were at the bottom, but maybe all wall ovens are like that, I don't know as this is our first one. I do also have to stand on a ladder to wipe out the back of the unit as the door drops down instead of to the side like a regular microwave. I'm shorter however. We would definitely buy the unit again and are thrilled with the very high quality.

I'm a senior and not great at technology so my Bosch was a bit intimidating at first. The more I become familiar with and try new features the more I love it. At 5"2", just wish I was a bit taller to be better able to manage the microwave!

Ordered from Home Depot took a couple of months with supply chain issues. Works great. Looks great. Is not fingerprint resistant though. Still experimenting with the combo microwave and convection oven on top. This is one of the reasons I purchased was to replace my large Breville Toaster Oven. Microwave is great and has a nice selection of modes. The convection is good but you have to remove the stainless steel rack. It really doesn't match the speed of my toaster oven but I didn't really expect it to. Oven is uniform and like the different choices of convection. Love the Wi-fi notifications. The only thing I found lacking was adequate lighting inside the microwave. Cant see jack inside. The oven light is just Ok. Overall pleased with the purchase.

My wife and I selected Bosch, not just because of Bosch's great reputation as a premium appliance provider, but because we liked the separate units that controlled the microwave and oven separately. This particularly beneficial should one day one of the two units breaks. Unlike other vendors of microwave / oven combos, the other unit would still work, as it has it separate control unit. We had a minor issue with the microwave, but Bosch dispatched their technician and the issue was resolved.
We love both units cook our food and the nice stylished look.
We thought we would be paying a lot more for lower brands but the cost was a couple hundred dollars more than let's say Kitchen Aid.

I'm really happy with our 800 series Bosch microwave oven combo. Lots of features, the app is easy to use and control the unit. My only concern was the metal trim between the microwave and oven, it seems to rub along the bottom of the microwave door making and slight noise. Installers will be here in a couple of days to check it out. Maybe a slight design flaw but the unit is iron clad in my opinion.

Replaced a Frigidaire double oven and separate microwave in a remodel with this $5129 combo about a month ago. Microwave is underpowered as cold spots occur in reheating a hard boiled egg. The exhaust fans force heat into the kitchen instead of the unit absorbing the heat like my old unit. The fan keeps running after the operation kis complete so you can't tell if your food is ready since no one can hear the buzzer as others have said. The oven seems to work well for baking once it gets to temperature. Warm up time is long. Why should a fast warmup function be needed. I bake a lot of bread and the oven does that well. This is not a new design as I see it reviewed over the last year or two. We expected so much more from Bosch. As it is we are stuck with an expensive underperformed. It was the only combo available at the time. Hope that it is reliable. If I had my wish it would be to turn off the exhaust fans and make the buzzer much louder.

Beautiful appliance. I am still getting to know all of the features. But, I love the combo microwave/convection oven. The home connect app is great for preheating and notifications. I do wish I could increase the volume more than the max that is available. I don't always hear when the microwave program is complete. Be prepared that this microwave requires 220V so you don't need an extra electrician visit as I did!

Ovens are aesthetically very pleasing, and are easy to use. Convection/microwave feature is practical for smaller meals. Beep volume could use a higher/louder setting.

My old oven was 30 years old and still worked. Using the Bosch is like stepping into another era. I'm still getting use to the function, but so far really impressed. Gave 4 stars since it's been installed only a few weeks. Would like to come back in a year and give a better review. I'm very happy so far.

We haven't had our combo oven set installed for long but so far we are in love! We like the wifi compatibility to send us notifications, we love the even consistency oven baking, the controls are easy to understand, ... it is simply superior to every other set we looked at.

Bought my Bosch Dbl oven, over a year ago... it was the best!! until a fuse blew... and then all hell broke lose! It took 2 months to get a repair guy out to fix it all 3 times after the first occurrence!! 4th time I got a hold of an awesome person who works at Bosch and she made the bad experience go away!! I love the stove when it is working... Bosch has great people working for them... but you just have to find them!! 4 stars because it took me a year to get my issue resolved, the resolution was getting me a new oven!! But I had to fight for it!!

I wish I would've known the door opens down instead of to the side. It makes it harder to clean inside. I also did not do my homework because it's a combination microwave and convection. I prefer just the microwave. My biggest complaint about both of them is when the timer goes off you cannot hear the notification buzzer. It is so quiet and I have it turned up as loud as it will go. This is not good when you're trying to do other things while cooking. I will only give it 3 1/2 star rating because of the timer issue and the way the door opens. Poor design .

We received the oven 4 months later than scheduled (covid). Out of the box it did not connect to home connect and it took 6 visits and a year to get it to connect. Board was replaced 4 times.
negatives about oven unit:
- controls are not intuitive
- microwave does not connect to home connect like oven (no idea why not)
- have to max out the temp adjustment to get to actual temp in oven
- probe took a long time to figure out that you dont plug it in all the way
- it takes 15 minutes to get to temperature, and fast mode isnt faster

It took 15 months to receive this unit from Bosch. If you can obtain it in a reasonable amount of time, do it! Really great. However we would not wait this period again for a bosch appliance.

I am a restaurant owner/chef and bake lots of sourdough bread at home. I love this oven and use the temperature probe feature to monitor the inner temperature of the bread. It will shut the oven off at 200 degrees. Ive had all the other brands of ovens over the years, and this Bosch is the best.

The combo oven is elegant with a good finish.
The following area need improvements:
- Poor user manual: Need a better user manual to utilize the Microwave & Oven to its fullest potential, especially around why & how the convection oven works, so that we can decide on when to use the microwave+convection vs. just using the microwave.
- The Microwave Oven door hinges from the bottom, which takes away the space in the front and affects the accessibility to the microwave tray -- it increases the reach by another 14-16".
- The 'cooling' fans are quite loud when on, even when the microwave and/or the oven is off. The sound of the cooling fan 'drowns' out the finish beep.
- The display brightness can be brighter, as it becomes difficult to read when there is a lot of light in the room.
